So reads a BetaNews piece that quotes Ford Motor Company, who recently announced support for "Girls Who Code," a program that teaches computer science to 6th-12th grade girls. The manufacturer's goal is to increase female interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in spite of the gender bias that's at play in our society.
