Discover the Refreshed New Ford Explorer Lineup at Tyler Ford
The Ford Explorer has long been a favorite of SUV buyers because of its athletic handling and roomy seating for seven. Ford refreshed the Explorer's design, giving it a more rugged exterior and a more upscale, feature-rich interior. It also has a simplified trim level lineup, and it's available now at Tyler Ford in Tyler, TX.

Ford Explorer Performance
The new Ford Explorer has accurate, well-weighted steering for crisp handling around turns. Its standard rear-wheel drive configuration and well-built suspension help it ride smoothly and nimbly on twisty roads in Lindale. Two engines are available in the Explorer, including a turbocharged 300-horsepower four-cylinder motor and a twin-turbocharged V6 engine. When properly equipped, the Explorer can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Interior and Exterior Design
No matter which trim level you choose, you'll find plenty of comfortable features and interior space with the Ford Explorer. The Ford Explorer has front seats that are exceptionally cushioned and ergonomically designed with your comfort in mind. The Ford Explorer also has a smooth ride around Lindale and beyond. The front seats have an especially decent amount of space. The driver's seat is easy to adjust, and the driver has excellent visibility with large mirrors and a large windshield. The third row of seats also folds flat for convenient entry.
The Ford Explorer's exterior has a power liftgate, and LED headlights are standard. The second trim adds roof rails and heated exterior mirrors. Power-folding exterior mirrors are an available exterior feature with the XLT Technology package. Larger alloy wheels come with the ST-Line, which also has some unique exterior accents including a black grille and black exterior details. Darker headlights and taillights are also included on this trim level. All-terrain tires are a feature you'll get with the Timberline, and the Limited has exterior chrome accents. Heated side mirrors with LED turn signals are available with a package, along with a hands-free liftgate. Polished 21-inch alloy wheels are standard on the Platinum trim level.

Technology Features
Technology is a highlight of the Ford Explorer no matter which trim you get. All Ford Explorer trim levels have Ford's SYNC® infotainment system. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are supported across the lineup. The Ford Explorer has a standard eight-inch touchscreen display, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen is available as an upgrade. The Ford Explorer starts off with a standard six-speaker sound system, but a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo comes with the ST-Line, and a 14-speaker B&O stereo system is available. USB ports in the second row are added to the XLT trim level, and a technology package for that trim adds a wireless phone charger. The King Ranch trim has a digital instrument panel along with the technology features of the previous trims.
Safety
All Ford Explorer trims have rear parking sensors, lane departure mitigation, forward collision avoidance, and blind-spot warning. These features will ensure your peace of mind during your travels.

New Ford Explorer Trim Levels
