Tougher and tougher jobs are being invented every day, and the Big Three Detroit pickup makers are in a constant battle to keep up. They also are always trying to one-up each other by posting the best power, towing, and payload numbers imaginable. That crown goes to the 2017 Ford Super Duty this year, with the release of the new generation's capability figures.

Ford's Super Duty lineup consists of the F-250, F-350, and F-450, all of which have been updated with fully-boxed high-strength steel frames, and lightweight aluminum skin for a total savings of 350 lbs. But the real ticket comes with what these beasts can do. For starters, the F-450 boasts some of the best capability figures in the industry with 32,500 lbs. towing and 7,630 lbs. max payload. Both the F-250 and F-350 can carry up to 18,000 lbs on their trailer hitches, and both top-end engines have gotten more torque.
