A midsize sedan must strike a rather precise balance of being capable, efficient, and to some degrees, fun to drive. That's a balance that the Ford Fusion hit on the head when it debuted in 2012. Now that it's midcycle refresh has occurred for the 2017 model year, the Fusion is now able to be more things to more people than ever.
The Fusion has always been an eye-catching sedan, but Ford has gone above and beyond with the 2017 refresh. Two new versions are available on top of the base sedan, EV, and hybrid models. First on the docket is the Platinum trim, which comes fully loaded and with leather with accent stitching throughout the cabin. The latter is a Sport trim, which uses all-wheel drive and a new twin-turbo engine to garner 325 horsepower.
