The Ford Transit Connect informs you of your surroundings and traffic conditions. It includes the Ford Co-Pilot 360 which is a suite of advanced standard and available driver-assisting technologies. The Co-Pilot 360 includes BLIS with cross-traffic alert. It also has pre-collision assistance (automatic emergency braking). The system’s sensors can detect a potential wreck with another vehicle or a pedestrian. When a potential wreck is detected a warning, with a sound, is flashed. If you don’t stop fast enough the brakes can automatically apply. It has sensors that will cut on when you’re driving slowly. Once you approach any object within 12 feet the alarm will sound. The Ford Transit Connect has automatic high-beam headlamps, a lane-keeping system, and a rear-view camera, and side wind stabilization.
